I had an opportunity to hear Joseph Fiksel, a co-director of the Center, speak last night at a local chapter meeting of the Organization Development Network.
Dr. Fiksel is exploring resilience from a variety of physical and metaphorical perspectives. His group is developing a 'measure' of resilience in organizations, and they are actively looking for partners who are interested in using and evaluating the new tool. Although I didn't ask, I'm sure they would love an international (read: outside of the USA) partner! It would add robustness to the tool evaluation and make it more widely relevant. Any takers?
