State of the Blog 2007: Inactive

It has been 10 days since I posted the State of the Blog 2007. By way of an update, there have been no comments or emails in response to my request for an affirmative topic around which to build an appreciative inquiry for this blog.

I take this to mean that this group blog has served its purpose, and that there is no interest in keeping it active for the group.

Moving forward:

  • The blog will remain online and available for historical reference.
  • If you are a member, you are free to post to the blog if you wish. Please be aware that the audience is quite small and reads the blog irregularly.
  • I may occasionally post announcements I think may be of interest. However, I will no longer actively attempt to instigate group participation and collaboration through this medium.

Kindest regards,

- Tina Kreminski

State of the Blog 2007

Happy New Year!

Traditionally in the United States, usually in January, the President speaks to the American people in what is known as the State of the Union address. That speech typically details the administrations accomplishments and challenges, and seeks to set the course for the upcoming year.

In that tradition, as the administrator of Positively Complex, I am coming before the members of this blog to report on the State of the Blog. This post is the first of several that will explore the current state of Positively Complex and our dreams for the future.

Consider this first post as a sort of pre-Discovery phase of an Appreciative Inquiry cycle, and an invitation to engage in an Appreciative Inquiry around this blog.

What are your ideas for an affirmative topic that we can explore during the Discover phase of this Appreciative Inquiry? Please add a comment to this post, or email me at tkreminski / at / gmail / dot / com in the next few days.

The State of the Union address traditionally ends with the President saying, "Thank you, and God Bless America." For our purposes, I think we'll modify that just a little.

Thank you, and Peace to You All,
